CALL FOR ARTISTS
Th e artists of Progetto Diogene announce the tenth edition of the international announcement “Diogene Bivaccourbano_R 2016”, devised according to a formula combining a successfully proven mode of artistic residency – highlighted by the letter R – with the purpose of more fully supporting the research work.
Open to all Italian and foreign artists, the initiative aims to activate a novel mode of furthering artistic work by providing economic and organizational support to help their research, thus giving the artist the opportunity to focus on his/her artistic work in the medium-long term. is new mode allows the winner of the competition to be freer from obligations and space-time limits, and aims, on the one hand, to engender dialogue among the artists, and on the other, to focus attention on further understanding
the poetics of the work.
